Testament
In the wine region of Dalmatia, not far from the historic town of Sibenik and right on the Adriatic Sea lies the 47-hectare fully organic vineyard of Testament Winery. Despite the fact that the Testament Winery vineyard was only planted in 2007, they won more prizes at the Decanter World Wine Awards than any other Croatian winemaker. Testament Winery is thus taking an important step towards fulfilling the goal of producing the best Croatian wines at an affordable price.
Winemakers Juraj Sladic and Igor Radovanovic are making Croatian wine history by combining the more than two thousand year old Dalmatian wine tradition with modern techniques. They do this well, the Testament Posip is the first Posip that does not come from the "home island" of Korcula but was awarded a gold medal by Decanter. Also the Dalmatian Dog Babić won a gold medal, which had never happened before to a wine made from the Babić grape.
