Product description
Product descriptionRoxanich Teran is a bold and energetic natural red wine made from 100% Teran, the indigenous grape variety of Istria.
After a 28-day maceration, the wine is spontaneously fermented with native yeasts and aged for an impressive 108 months in large wooden casks. It is bottled unfiltered, with no additives or fining — a pure expression of grape and place.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby hue and aromas of sour cherry, forest floor, violets, and savory spice. The palate is vibrant and structured, with firm acidity, fine tannins, and a long, mineral finish.
A true ambassador of Istrian terroir.
Roxanich Winery is one of Croatia’s most distinctive voices in natural winemaking. Based in Istria, the estate is known for its bold, long-aged wines made without additives, filtering, or shortcuts.
Winemaker Mladen Rožanić follows a philosophy of minimal intervention and maximum patience — many of his wines age for years, sometimes even a decade, before release. This slow, natural process reveals incredible depth, texture, and authenticity.
The result? Honest wines with soul — wild yet refined, rooted in tradition but never conventional.
