Roxanich SuperIstrian is a powerful, long-aged natural red wine from western Istria. This biodynamic field blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and the local grape Borgonja, creating an Istrian interpretation of the classic Bordeaux style.

The wine undergoes 28 days of maceration and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. It is then aged for over 10 years (120 months) in wooden barrels and bottled unfiltered, with no additives.

The result is a full-bodied, complex red wine with notes of blackcurrant, plum, tobacco, leather, and spice. On the palate, it’s rich and balanced, with silky tannins and a long, refined finish.

Roxanich Winery is one of Croatia’s most distinctive voices in natural winemaking. Based in Istria, the estate is known for its bold, long-aged wines made without additives, filtering, or shortcuts.

Winemaker Mladen Rožanić follows a philosophy of minimal intervention and maximum patience — many of his wines age for years, sometimes even a decade, before release. This slow, natural process reveals incredible depth, texture, and authenticity.
