Product description
Product descriptionRoxanich Portorose is a refined biodynamic rosé made from 100% Borgonja (Gamay), grown in the rocky soils of Istria, Croatia.
This natural wine is spontaneously fermented with native yeasts and bottled unfiltered, with no fining or added sulfites. The result is a vibrant, salmon-pink rosé with aromas of wild raspberry, floral hints, and a touch of spice.
On the palate, it’s crisp and dry, with refreshing acidity, mineral undertones, and a clean, elegant finish. A true natural rosé with soul – expressive, lively, and unapologetically honest.
Winemaking style: biodynamic, unfiltered, no additives – just grape, terroir, and time.
Perfect pairing: seafood, summer salads, antipasti, or as a fresh aperitif.
Roxanich Winery is one of Croatia’s most distinctive voices in natural winemaking. Based in Istria, the estate is known for its bold, long-aged wines made without additives, filtering, or shortcuts.
Winemaker Mladen Rožanić follows a philosophy of minimal intervention and maximum patience — many of his wines age for years, sometimes even a decade, before release. This slow, natural process reveals incredible depth, texture, and authenticity.
The result? Honest wines with soul — wild yet refined, rooted in tradition but never conventional.
