Korak Chardonnay sur lie is Croatian top Chardonnay made in typical south Burgundy style. Elegant, oaked Chardonnay with silky texture and delicate toasted notes. 

On the nose, complex with dominant hazelnut & pistachios aromas, followed by fruity notes of melon and figs as well as buttery and smokey notes.

On the palate this Chardonnay sur lie is full bodied, rich and slightly spicy with ripe tropical fruit aromas of pineapples, bananas and melon with the hints of hazelnut, toast and butter. With very balanced acidity and long lasting finish. 

Vinification: 

Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in 225l French oak barrels on natural yeast. Bâtonnage every 15 days. Matured for 12 months on lees in barrique barrels. Transferred to 100 years old large oak barrels for another 12 months. Unfiltered and natural without any sulfur added. 

Serving tip: Serve chilled in the big Bourgogne glass at 12-14 degrees Celsius. 
Ageing potential: 10-20 years.
