For over a century, the Tomac family has been dedicated to producing exceptional wines. Their journey into modern winemaking took a significant leap in 1987, with their first major accolade arriving in 1996 when they won an award in France for their Chardonnay at Chardonnay du Monde. The very next year, their sparkling wine, Tomac Classic, was celebrated at Vinalies d'Argent in Paris. Over the years, the Tomac family has accumulated numerous prestigious awards, all while staying true to their traditional winemaking methods.
In 2006, the Tomac family transitioned to a fully organic approach to vine growing, adopting the ancient technique of wine production in amphorae. These amphorae were specially ordered from Georgia and buried in the ground, allowing the wine to mature naturally. By 2009, the first bottles of this unique amphora wine were filled, marking another milestone in their rich winemaking history.
