The winery is settled on the island Brač,  known for steep vineyards and unique white stone (Stina).The stone was the inspiration for the name of the winery -Stina. The grapes for this wine come from younger and older vineyards in the inland of the island. Due to tradition and the steep slopes all cultivation in the vineyards  is done manual.The harvest is done manually  as well early in the morning, to avoid the heat and preserve freshness and flavor in the grapes.
