Rhein Riesling found the perfect Croatian terroir on Plešivica where it also became the most spread variety. Warm days and cool nights there provide for riesling suitable climate where this grape variety can ripen well, concentrating enough sugar while maintaining enough acidity.

This Rhein Riesling from vinyard Laškorec is elegant and pure with lots of floral and fresh citrus aromas with mild botrytis and captivating acacia flower notes. Young and mineral, while also showing depth.  

Vinification:

Korak's Rhein Riesling has gone through short cool maceration for few days. Spontaneously fermented in big oak barrels on natural yeasts. 

Maturation: 

12 months in big oak barrels on fine lees. 

Korak's Riesling is an excellent wine for long term bottle ageing.
