Coronica Gran Malvazija is the flagship white wine of the Coronica estate, crafted from carefully selected Malvazija grapes grown on Istria’s rare terra rossa soils. The vineyards lie just a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, where constant breezes and the mineral-rich red earth give the wines their distinctive freshness and depth.

After a careful hand harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented with precision, followed by aging in large Slavonian oak barrels and further maturation in the bottle. This slow development allows the wine to achieve its signature balance between varietal purity and layered complexity.

The result is a full-bodied Malvazija with aromas of ripe stone fruit, citrus zest, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is structured yet elegant, with a refined interplay of freshness, minerality, and a long, harmonious finish that reflects its coastal terroir.

Gran Malvazija pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as grilled fish, shellfish, white meats, and truffle-based Istrian specialties, but it also has the complexity to evolve further with cellaring.
