Bura Plavac is a young and fresh wine, pleasantly acid, with fruity aromas, with a medium body and solid tannins. It comes from the most important and protected Croatian wine variety: Plavac mali crni.
The wine is clear, ruby red in color with purple discs, medium concentration and medium viscosity. The youthful color, in addition to the classic ruby, also has purple pigments.
On the nose: intense, fine quality and long lasting. The emphasis is on fruity aromas, and slightly floral. There is also earth minerality. Fruits – blue berries, blueberries, mani currants, fresh black plums, cherries. Violet, a few spicy notes, cocoa, chocolate, caramel.
In the mouth: dry, warm and soft. Freshness of medium intensity, tasty, soft and light tannin structure. The tannins are rounded, soft and fruity. Fruity in the mouth follows that on the nose. So blue fruit ripe blueberry, plum, cherry, with spicy notes. The wine is harmonious, serve it at a temperature of 14 ° C with tuna dishes, grilled tuna steak or local blue fish.The wine is ready to drink, but it can also be aged for another 3 years.
