Zlatan Plavac Grand Select (previously known as Gran Cru) is the wine you will definitely remember! The wine is made of carefully selected Plavac mali grapes that grow on steep southern slopes around Sveta Nedjelja village. These unique vineyards of up to 40% incline are surrounded by untouched nature, fully exposed to the sea and the sun. The vines are growing in a completely natural environment, without any use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and all the work in the vineyard, including harvesting, is done manually.

For this wine selected grapes are used. The winemaker chooses grapes from the best parts of the 35+ years old vineyards. After processing, wine ages for at least 2 years in French oak barrique barrels.

Zlatan Plavac Grand Select is a wine of exceptional qualities, dark ruby colour, expressive, beautiful scent, balanced alcohols and acidity. Rounded, full-body wine with rich and powerful but very elegant, velvety tannic structure. Wine of expressive and complex aromas like dark fruit, Dalmatian herbs, tobacco, wood, vanilla, pepper. Impressive and sophisticated expression of Hvar terroir.

How to serve it: 

Best served at 16-18 C.

Serve it with steak, ribs, grilled meat, game, matured cheese.
