Croatian wine enthusiasts across the globe announce First International Plavac Mali Day.
September 21st marks International Plavac Mali Day - the celebration of the best known and most planted red grape variety grown in the Dalmatian wine region of Croatia, and typically harvested around the Fall Solstice, on September 21.
This project is work of Aroma Wine Co., and Croatian Premium Wine Imports, Inc., the US-based duo, together with organizations around the globe, including the Wines of Croatia, Vino Dalmacije and Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Croatian National Tourist Board, importers and distributors in Canada, Australia, and Europe, as well as Croatian wineries, who work together to raise awareness of premium Croatian wines.
Here in the Netherlands we'd like to join this celebration and therefore are announcing variety of Plavac Mali themed events and special offers around September 21st. Join us in celebration and promotion of the grape variety that make such delicious wines.
