Perdisacca Rosignola is a truly special olive oil of the highest quality. Characterised by fresh, grassy notes, and distinctive aroma of green apple, rosinjola has a balanced bitterness and pronounced spiciness with softer nuances of salad and aromatic herbs. It accentuates the naturally strong taste of red meat and aged cheese and pairs exquisitely with fish based dishes. A few drops will give dark chocolate desserts a surprising new depth of flavour. It comes in luxurious packaging full of interesting details. So, for example, there's a historic map of the producers' olive plantation which you can only see at the specific angle/light and the story of Perdisacca is written on the bottle cap's label in English. Whether you want to treat yourself, or you're looking for the perfect present, you can never go wrong choosing this product!
Perdisacca is a small family owned brand of family Cergna from Bale close to Rovinj, Istria. They are producing three labels of olive oils with yearly production of around 1500 bottles. In their collection you'll find monovarietal oils made of local Buža or Rosignola and a blend of the two.
