Premium quality, fully organic white off-dry wine from 100% Graševina (aka Welsh Riesling). Medium body yet fresh, easy to drink with distinct fruity and flowery aromas, medium alchohol and crisp acidity. Graševina is often considered easy, young drinking wine of lower quality. But this one is certainly not that! This wine has excellent ageing potential, due to the way it's produced. When it reaches its ageing potential smells like acacia honey.
Ivan Enjingi is known for producing organic wines from late harvested grapes. His wine production motto is that the wine is made in the vineyard not in the cellar and that we need to let the nature do it’s work. All his wines are aged in barrique barrels made of Slavonian and French oak and he’s known for releasing the wines only after long ageing. However, don’t be scared of this, cause wines Enjingi makes are of the highest quality and with the long ageing potential. He’s wine are full of taste, juicy, sometimes somewhat bold, but mostly something extraordinary, different from what you’ve tasted before. Certainly something you should try!
Pair it with: all kinds of white meat even with fatty or spicy versions, cured meat and cheeses but also with fish, clams, oysters and salads.
