Exotic Wine Travel review on Vivino:
Late harvest Riesling that Enjingi is famous for. This is nicely tart with a touch of sweetness. It is off dry but will make dry fans happy. Full of lemon, white flower, petrol, and forest floor flavors. Well made with a long finish 4.2
Premium quality, organic dry blend of 5 grape varieties - Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Frankovka, Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot. Made of carefully selected, late harvest grapes. Matured in oak barrels for 18 months and afterwards in bottles. Complex, full bodied wine with lots of character and a very long finish. Full of intense ripe fruit aromas, jammy sirup and discreet oak flavours. All very well blended and balanced. Wine that can age for many years.
Ivan Enjingi is known for producing organic wines from late harvested grapes. His wine production motto is that the wine is made in the vineyard not in the cellar and that we need to let the nature do it’s work. All his wines are aged in barrique barrels made of Slavonian and French oak and he’s known for releasing the wines only after long ageing. However, don’t be scared of this, cause wines Enjingi makes are of the highest quality and with the long ageing potential. He’s wine are full of taste, juicy, sometimes somewhat bold, but mostly something extraordinary, different from what you’ve tasted before. Certainly something you should try!
Pair with: old cheese, red meat, pasta with meat sauce.
